There are so many different places to go in Italy so how do you choose the right one for you based on your goals and investment level for the trips? For this trip we chose a combination of Italy highlights, and some less touristy spots to give them the perfect intro. And we handled it all so she would feel confident in her travels.
family trip to Japan: tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto & Osaka
an epic 16th birthday celebration
The family wanted this trip to feel fun and exciting, making sure to spend plenty of time at DisneySea Tokyo and Universal Osaka, but they also wanted to experience the culture and history that make Japan so special. It was a lot to fit in 2 weeks, so at one point they were considering removing both Hakone and Kyoto so they could have more time in cities and theme parks.
I encouraged them to keep both - not because every trip to Japan needs to include the same places, but because after getting to know what they wanted out of this trip, I had a feeling these would be the exact places they would appreciate. They ended up being their favorite parts of the trip.
I was skeptical of coming to Hakone, but would have w cried if we didn’t include it on our stop. Best spot so far. The Ryokan is better than I thought, and the views of the town can heal a stressed soul. We tried the black eggs, and my favorite was the Museum. This appealed most to my artistic side. We got a hot spring outside, and i plan to dip in it. Thanks so much for this effective planning. Love it!
